Welcome to Kilshannagh

Kilshannagh Veterinary Clinic was founded by Drs. Mark and Tina Aiken in the summer of 2005 and takes its name from Dr. Mark’s family farm in County Tyrone, Ireland.

Prior to 2005, both Drs. Mark and Tina spent several years in large, multi-doctor veterinary clinics in Great Britain, Germany and the United States. Their years of cumulative experiences in different practice environments, treating horses and small animals, led them gradually to the belief that high quality veterinary medicine, embracing both conventional and alternative approaches, could be successfully provided in a smaller practice setting, combining quality, responsiveness and accessibility.

With that philosophy in mind, Mark and Tina constructed their practice premises on their farm in Ancramdale, Columbia County, New York in 2005.

Our Doctors provide comprehensive conventional and alternative treatments for horses and small animals, and consider it a priority to have a close relationship with our clients. The practice also offers onsite equine boarding and rehabilitation services.
